She draws inspiration and knowledge from the generations of strong women in her family—mothers, farmers, bakers, and herbalists—who passed down a deep respect for the gifts of Mother Nature. Waltraud is passionate about growing medicinal herbs, edible flowers, and vegetables in her small suburban garden. She also helps people live a joyful and empowered gluten-free lifestyle as the founder of the Gluten-Free Sourdough Lab, where she teaches others to create nourishing, from-scratch sourdough breads and other baked goods.
